On Tuesday, Tia Mowry said that she husband Cory Hardrict had decided to end their 14-year marriage.
The 44-year-old actress said, “I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different,” in an Instagram post on October 4. That’s why I’m writing to say that Cory and I have broken up.
“These decisions are never easy and not without grief,” she continued. “As we take care of our lovely children together, we’ll be able to do so without sacrificing our friendship. I want to express my appreciation to my friends, family, and fans for their unwavering love and encouragement as we embark on this next exciting chapter in our life together.”
They’ve been married since April 2008 and have a son, Cree, 11, and a daughter, Cairo, 4.
Tamera Mowry, Mowry’s twin sister, reacted to the news in the post’s comments by posting four heart emojis and commenting, “love you!”
Other famous friends of Mowry’s chimed in to show their approval, such as Halle Berry, Taraji P. Henson, and Jackée Harry (who co-starred with the Mowry sisters in “Sister, Sister” in the ’90s).
