A driver lost control during a Texas Cars and Coffee event this weekend, injuring three people. The driver of a black sixth-generation Chevrolet Corvette who lost control while accelerating away from the event caused the injuries, according to Official Stro YouTube clip.

Trophy Club, Texas, a Dallas-Fort Worth suburb, with dozens of people lined up on the Highway 114 service road. A McLaren, ahead of the Chevrolet, accelerates away from the crowd.

Next, the Corvette accelerates into the left lane. The automobile then drives into the crowd. As the Corvette neared, the throng dispersed, but some were injured by the car.

Keller police told WFAA that the incident happened Saturday, December 17, about 10:30 a.m. The Corvette injured three individuals, two teens, according to investigators.

Police say a 16- and 17-year-old were injured, but their conditions are unknown. Witnesses said one victim smacked her head on the Corvette’s windscreen and another wounded their leg. First responders allegedly stretchered both.

The Corvette has been seized, but police have not filed charges. However, the collision shows how easy it is to lose control of a high-powered vehicle and how dangerous it may be when pedestrians are present.

Mustang owners should be careful too.
