“Today we celebrate you.”
Ray Liotta’s fiancee, Jacy Nittolo, is celebrating the late actor on his 68th birthday.
On Saturday, Nittolo posted a heartfelt eulogy for the 67-year-old “Field of Dreams” actor who went away suddenly in May.
The 48-year-old shared a video slideshow of adorable photographs of herself, Liotta, and their children, set to The Beatles’ “My Life.” Nittolo is the mother of four children, Chazz, Dax, Jade, and Joey; Liotta has a 24-year-old daughter, Karsen, with his ex-wife Michelle Grace.
Nittolo began by quoting Chuck Palahniuk in the post’s caption: “The goal isn’t to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.”
Her words continued, “Ray would have turned 68 years old today. From Ray’s sister Linda, to his daughter Karsen, to myself, I know that he left an indelible mark on all of our lives.”

Nittolo concluded the post with, “Today we celebrate you.”
Karsen shared Nittolo’s Instagram story in honour of her late father’s birthday, and she also made a new post in her own Instagram story.
Happy Birthday to my Dad,” Karsen captioned a photo of herself with the “Goodfellas” actor. She then uploaded a black and white photo of Liotta with the caption, “I love you and miss you more than I can put into words.”
According to TMZ, Liotta passed away in late May on set in the Dominican Republic. He quietly left this world in his sleep. His death was ruled to be natural and no foul play is being suspected, per a TMZ source at the time.
He was in the Dominican Republic, and Nittolo was there too. Around the holiday season of 2020, she and Liotta announced their engagement with a cute photo taken in front of a Christmas tree and posted to social media.
Nittolo memorialised Liotta on Instagram shortly after his passing, writing, “These past few years have been nothing short of fantastic for me. My affection for Ray is something I will never forget.”
Nittolo has continued to remember Liotta since his death, most recently writing a heartfelt essay on the loss of a friend on Thanksgiving.
She posted a 2019 photo of herself and her late fiance along with the caption, “Nearly six months have passed since Ray and I parted ways. Everyday life is quite trying. Without him, it’s impossible to take a deep breath.”
“I am grateful for the times we shared every day. To put it simply, I had the time of my life during that time “she elaborated “The support of my wife and kids has been invaluable to me, and I will be forever grateful to them. For some reason, you keep me going.”
Nittolo continued by saying she is “thankful” for Liotta’s kid, Karsen, with whom she “laughs and cries with me daily” and who she is “linked for life” with.
Next, she drew the following conclusion: “I have no idea what I would do without the unwavering support of my many friends, both old and new. Despite the constant agony, I know that I am lucky and for that I am grateful.”
