Kim Kardashian’s Taylor Swift Takedown Was Ideal For Snapchat

Kim K. has now joined the ranks of Snapchat users. If you haven’t seen enough of Kim Kardashian this week, she now has her own account on Snapchat. Kim Kardashian, after being the talk of Twitter and Instagram for a week, finally joined Snapchat. Yesterday evening, she announced her new Twitter account.

Kim’s older sister Kourtney watches as she makes a duck face for her first Snapchat. You can save some time by scanning this rather than looking for Kim’s Snapchat handle, which is Kim Kardashian. Adding Snapchat to Kardashian’s repertoire will only increase the potential for controversy and amusement on her other social media platforms.

For those who were late to the #KimExposedTaylorParty, here is the lowdown: Kim Kardashian West posted a Snapchat video of what appears to be Kanye West and Taylor Swift’s allegedly covertly recorded (and therefore possibly illegal) phone call.

There is a clip showing Kanye West reciting the lyrics of his controversial song “Famous” (perhaps before his album “The Life of Pablo” was released), and Taylor Swift appears to approve of the lyrics over speakerphone, despite the lyrics’ personal, edgy nature and the tense history between Swift and West.

According to the pictures, Swift was wrong to be so critical of the song and its even more divisive music video. Swift addressed the outcry with an iOS notes post on Twitter and Instagram. For the first time in my life, I really wondered out loud when I got up this morning and realised none of the drama was taking place on Twitter.

Why not use the video in a future episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians?” (Kardashian-West says Swift acted like a victim in the “KUWTK” recording, but she doesn’t show the phone conversation from the show.) Is Instagram a better option, or? Or maybe you’d want to tweet or Facebook it?

Why Didn’t She Put It On Her Official App, Which Members Pay For On A Monthly Basis?

I think Kardashian-West was completely aware of what she was doing and she executed it perfectly. Kardashian West’s renowned social media savvy is quickly established, earning its illustrious image as Taylor Swift’s seemingly perfect, cookie-cutter persona begins to crumble.

The video will be posted on Snapchat because Kardashian West wants to raise her profile and popularity on the service. Kourtney Kardashian West is a social media star thanks in part to her controversial tweets and scantily clad Instagram posts, which have made her a “must-follow” personality online. However, her younger siblings are the ones that are often thought to dominate the Snapchat world.

In terms of appeal to a younger demographic, in terms of both aesthetics and edge, Snapchat is unrivalled. What could possibly be more daring than calling someone “America’s Sweetheart?” The video posted by Kardashian West is full of the kind of vile, juicy details that feed the rumour mills.

The long, dramatic stretches of dialogue are perfect for sharing around the water cooler. Snapchat’s main focus is on the instantaneous distribution of photos and videos. Kim, on the other hand, purposefully published a video that she knew would go viral because she knew it would seem old.
