On Saturday, police in Walkerton made an arrest of an Akron man who is charged with the murder of a juvenile.
They were able to apprehend Darren Scott Corbett, 32 years old, a former resident of Walkerton.
In Walkerton, he was taken into custody.
He is charged with murder as well as aggravated battery resulting in the death of a kid and abuse of a dependent leading to death. These charges come on top of the murder charge.
As of Sunday, he remained being held without bond in the correctional facility serving Fulton County.
It was not possible to obtain any additional information.
There was no information regarding when he will make his first appearance in court.
