On Saturday, a woman was killed in the village of Medak in horrific fashion. The police say that T. Sujatha, 42, was stabbed in the throat and had her gold jewellery stolen. She passed away instantly there and then.
Sujatha and Venkatesham were doing well in life thanks to their vegetable stall at the local market. Each of them spent Saturday at the market selling veggies before Sujatha headed back home to cook. After waiting until 1 p.m. with no response, Venkatesham went home, only to discover her lying in a pool of blood. He quickly contacted the authorities.
Supt. Rohini Priyadarshini, Deputy Supt. Saidulu, and other officers responded immediately. A canine unit and a clues team were called in to help. The Medak police have taken a report and are looking into the situation.
