SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS (WWLP) – A man was killed early Saturday morning when his car crashed into a tree on Berkshire Avenue.
Officer Ryan Walsh, a spokesman for the Springfield Police Department, said that the incident occurred at 1:30 a.m. Officers responded to a single-vehicle accident with a tree in the 700 block of Berkshire Avenue. No passengers were in the vehicle, and the driver was pronounced dead at Baystate Medical Center from his wounds.
